I continue to learn a lot about how to grow my internet business. Having multiple streams of income online is a big goal for me…The newest component I have learned about – and implemented – is autoresponders.
I have read that the big key to making money in internet marketing is having an email list. And having an email list, means you need emails to send to your subscribers. Have you heard that, too?
That is where autoresponders come in.
For multiple streams of income online, I need to build an email list
How do I do that? The very idea can be daunting.
But step by step, rather than being overwhelmed.
That is something I've learned about. Everything I need to know comes to me step by step. I am implementing each step. I trust this process for a couple of reasons:
- folks who have been at this a lot longer than I,have taken the exact steps I am taking, and it works for them. There are people who have been doing this business through the training at Wealthy Affiliate for anywhere from six months to fourteen years who are all successful. The training and the system works. They prove it.
- I know it takes diligent application and consistent work to implement all the training and I am doing it.
The evidence from the success of countless others tells me it is worth doing. I encourage you to take the steps to be successful, too. Having an autoresponder is a key ingredient for success in generating multiple streams of income online.
Have the EMails Set Up
Before you build your list, you need to put in place the information you plan to send to your subscribers. You don't want a new subscriber to fall into a black hole with no communication, and you don't want to have to write an individual email to each one instead.
Solution: set up your autoresponders…That is what I have done with my autoresponder.
Traffic Wave is an autoresponder service. That means your emails to your list get sent out automatically! You set it up, build your list and they get emails from you.
Autoresponders can add another way for readers to find the information that you have that is what they are interested in knowing about.
They don't have to bookmark your website and remember to come back again. Instead, they get subscribe to get periodic updates and new information on products and services that are relevant to their searches.
People who visit my site don't have to disappear. I can build a relationship with them with my autoresponders. Isn't that exciting?
My Autoresponder is User Friendly
This autoresponder service is really easy to use. It is very similar to a word-based product, so it is the same as most things we write. It is almost identical to word press in the way you write, title, and add images and links. There is not a lot of relearning. That works for me!
I like it so much that I want you to have it absolutely free for 30 days so you can see what a great tool this is. Go here to take advantage of this offer!
What you do is to set up a campaign, or a series of emails. There are templates to use. You choose one to reflect your brand, and set it up to use and reuse. Some are really simple, some look like fancy newsletters.
You can easily personalize your autoresponders by adding in the subscriber's name to the subject line and/or in the body of your email.
The first responses your email subscriber will get comply with federal regulations, in being a double opt-in to subscribe. That means a person clicks on a link to subscribe to your newsletter.
That person then gets an email from you, asking them to confirm their subscription. When they click on the second link, they are subscribed.
Your Autoresponder Campaign
You can (and probably should – as much as I dislike that word should!) set up all your emails, and set them up for when you want them to go to your subscriber. I made my first email one to go out immediately, then followed up by an email a days later. I have a third one, to go out the day after that. Up to 30 or so.
The first is a welcome message. Then I introduce myself, and begin to build a relationship with my recipients. I ask some questions, to encourage them to email and tell me a bit about them. I give away free resources to help them in their areas of interest. By the 4th, 5th and 6th emails, I am encouraging them to buy a product through me that I know will be a benefit to them.
Then I resume some emails, with free information or updates. On each, I invite my recipient to take some sort of action, whether clicking on a link, or sending me an email. I want to be interactive, and get them in the habit of taking action…it's going to benefit them…and generate income for me.
After the first 10 or so of daily emails, I drop back to every 2-3 days. I offer a product for sale no more than every 3 emails, with 2 follow-ups to invite action. Then back to more general subjects and free gifts.
During the email campaign, I am inviting my subscribers to select other topics they are most interested in, since Annie's Tips covers a lot of territory about living creative mindful lives that we design.
A subscriber may identify that he or she is especially interested in the Creative Life, and/or Spiritual Growth, and/or Family issues, and/or Physical Health and Well-Being. Or he or she may select an interest in having a home-based internet business, with its growing market that now has 3.5 Billion consumers!
I am setting up autoresponders to go out to those folks who have indicated that particular segment (s) of my business. So I have several different campaigns set up in my autoresponder.
It Goes on Autopilot
One of the really exciting things about this tool is how I can put it on autopilot. Yes, I have to do the work to get it all set up. And I am sure I will be doing tweaking along the way.
But for every subscriber, I will have an automatic series of emails going out. I can add to them, and they will always be there, for every new subscriber.
I can go on vacation, and my business will generate emails and contacts with my subscriber list.
I can send out specials to those who have told me they have a particular area of interest. With a click of a button. One of your products has a special sale? Send out the notification to your email list!
So many of my affiliates notify me of specials they are running for a week or two. Without autoresponders I would have no way to reach them directly with an update like that! No wonder having an email list with autoresponders is such a big way to generate multiple streams of income online!
There's Also An Affiliate Program So You Can Get it For Free Forever…
Not only is this a really cool tool to use to automate a lot of my blog outreach to readers, but it has a built-in affiliate program. Every person who signs up for Traffic Wave gets assigned to either me, or once my three slots filled up, to the down links under me. This is the link on how the affiliate program works.
That makes subscribing to this tool cost nothing for me, or for those who enroll under me. Costing nothing is something that I like a lot, especially when it is a result of my having shared with other folks, something that works so well. That is what I call a win-win. It is a pay-it-forward mentality…I like it so much that you can have not only the first 30 days free, but you can make it free forever.
I think you can tell that I am. This is one of my most valuable tools.
I subscribe to newsletters and updates from others who have information I want. I have sometimes bought products because they sent me information. I learned to trust what they had to tell me.
With my autoresponders, I get to build those relationships with my subscribers, too. I know I want to change the world by bringing creative mindfulness to people so that they can design the lives of joy and fulfillment that is their potential. Traffic Wave helps me.
