Having an online business is so great. Of course, you need to do the work, and you need to learn how to sell stuff online and make money doing it, so you get a paycheck.

It goes hopefully almost without saying that having an online business means you will be doing a lot of work, especially when you are first getting started.
After 3 to 6 months, when you are getting traffic and income, you will be able to settle down so that you can do your business in a 20-hour work week. The biggest search engine is Google. Two other important but not as prominent ones are Yahoo and Bing. Smart usage of keywords helps to optimize your website being found by the search engines. Good keyword use leads to Search Engine Optimization or SEO.
Use LongTail Keywords

Use Relevant Images
Images help a reader navigate and get and stay engaged with your post. Pictures speak a thousand words, right? A picture that is relevant to your topic helps to communicate what you are saying. It entertains and holds interest.
Pictures convey emotions, too. A reader whose emotions are triggered will tend to stay with you. An engaged reader may even take the action you are recommending.
Keep Your Reader in Mind All the Time
Awkward phrasing to make a keyword work will not help your reader. You need to find and use keywords that fit naturally within your content. If you have awkward phrasing your content will fail to interest your reader and you will lose him or her.
The idea here has always got to be to serve the interests and the needs of your readers. There is no other reason to have a post in your blog. You're not going to sell any stuff online if you don't have a reader who reads what you have to say and then acts on your recommended solutions.
Images that have nothing to do with your content will only confuse. Everything has to flow.
Use regular language. You're not writing a treatise here. You're having an online conversation. You want your readers to get to know you, and to trust you.
And speaking of trust, never say anything you don't completely believe to be true. Do your research. Talk from your own mind and heart. That way, you honor yourself and you honor your readers.
These are five key points I've been learning in my training. I've added some of my own values to all of it, of course. That makes it mine, with my own flavor. That makes my content unique.
Putting your own stamp on your work will make yours unique, too. It is what makes you stand out from everyone else.
